Moon phases, May 2027

The Moon completes a full cycle of phases in about 29.5 days. At the new moon the Sun and Moon share a degree; at the full moon they face each other. The quarters fall exactly halfway between.

Astrologically, the new moon is linked with beginnings and intentions, the full moon with results, visibility and completion. The first quarter reads as a time to act, the last quarter as a time to let go.

The sign of each phase tells you which theme is in focus: at a full moon look at the Moon's sign, at a new moon the sign the Sun and Moon share.
